In the role of Assembler III, you'll play a pivotal part on our production team. This position contributes to our vision by: Performing routine and repetitive electronic assembly operations and processes for aircraft parts in a manual manufacturing assembly line environment. Assembling and soldering electronic printed circuit boards, small mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. Using basic electronic assembly tools, instruments and equipment daily in the production of printed circuit boards and assemblies. Using standard electronic assembly hand tools, common power tools and continuity test equipment such as ohm meters. Preparing wires for assembly measuring, cutting, stripping, tinning and attaching contacts, lugs and other terminal type devices using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools and soldering equipment. Applying and handling conformal coatings, sealants and adhesives. Performing less complex acceptance test procedures utilizing specific test equipment. Working in a team environment participating in continuous improvement activities. Keeping their assigned work area organized and clean and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Excellent communications skills both verbal and written. Proficient with computers. Proficient with all basic hand tools, ohm meters and basic power tools. Ability to understand and interpret electrical schematics. Ability to deal with standard tolerancing (allowances, limits and fits) and perform advanced math calculations. Complete knowledge of related aircraft hardware as it relates to rivets, screws and bolts (NAS, MS, An, etc.). Minimum of 5 years work experience in a production environment or equivalent business environment. The expected salary range for this position is between $20-21.75 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
