Program Aide

We are a recruitment agency proudly partnering with a compassionate, community-centered adult day care program that provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for older adults. We are currently seeking a dedicated and caring Program Aide to join their team on a part-time basis. The Program Aide plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the center by assisting with therapeutic and recreational activities, providing general supervision and support to participants, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This position combines hands-on participant care with essential facility upkeep, making it ideal for someone who is dependable, empathetic, and team-oriented. Key Responsibilities

Participant Support Assist with the delivery of recreational, cognitive, and social activities under supervision of the Program Director or Recreation Supervisor Encourage and support participant involvement in all scheduled programs Monitor participants' well-being and report concerns to appropriate staff Assist with mobility, toileting, and personal needs within the scope of your training and center policy Environmental Sanitation & Maintenance Sanitize furniture, high-touch surfaces, and activity areas after each shift Monitor restroom cleanliness throughout the day, restocking supplies as needed Perform full restroom cleaning at end of day Keep activity, dining, and communal spaces tidy and organized Report maintenance issues to supervisory staff promptly Team Collaboration Communicate effectively with participants, coworkers, and supervisors Attend team meetings, required trainings, and in-service sessions Follow all health, safety, and confidentiality policies and procedures Qualifications

Prior experience working with older adults or in a caregiving, daycare, or healthcare setting is preferred but not required Ability to assist with light physical care tasks such as mobility and toileting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable with light cleaning and sanitation tasks Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold participant dignity at all times Must be able to work the required schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Why This Role Might Be Perfect for You
