$24/hour Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Mechanical/Electrical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical sub-systems, ensuring all tasks are completed with precision and in accordance with company standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and the ability to follow safety and quality procedures in an industrial or fabrication setting. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and review technical drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and work orders to assemble mechanical and electrical sub-systems. Stage parts, hardware, and materials, ensuring proper counts and certifications. Perform bolting, torqueing, rigging assists, cable routing, labeling, and final fit-up for systems and components. Utilize hand and power tools, including impact wrenches, torque wrenches, banders, crimpers, and grinders. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and telehandlers (if certified). Safely move and position components using team lifts, dollies, and slings; regularly lift up to 75 lbs. Perform quality assurance checks, including measuring dimensions, torque values, tagging, and updating redlines or as-built documentation. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S and lean manufacturing practices. Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), hot-work, and confined space rules as applicable. Document work progress in traveler/CMMS; identify and report any issues, proposing solutions as needed. Qualifications: 1-3+ years of experience as an assembler, millwright helper, or in a similar role within an EPC, industrial, or fabrication environment. Ability to handle repetitive physical tasks and heavy lifting. Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude, including the ability to measure accurately with tools such as tape measures and calipers. Experience with rigging fundamentals is a plus. Forklift or overhead crane certification is preferred. Familiarity with torque specifications, fastener types, and basic electrical terminations is a plus. Safety-focused mindset with strong adherence to PPE compliance.
