Senior Paralegal
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our legal team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting our corporate, intellectual property, and legal needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain corporate contracts, records, filings, and legal documentation. Monitor and help ensure compliance with corporate governance as well as federal and state regulatory obligations. Assist in board and committee meeting preparation, including compiling agendas and drafting minutes. Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts (NDAs, MSAs, clinical trial agreements, vendor agreements, licensing, and SaaS agreements). Maintain contract lifecycle workflows and assist with post-signature compliance and renewals. Serve as a liaison between legal, leadership, and business units for contract-related matters. Assist with discovery, subpoenas, and litigation holds. Support IP portfolio management, including patent and trademark filings in collaboration with external counsel. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on a variety of issues. Implement and maintain legal operations tools, templates, and knowledge base systems. Develop and refine internal legal processes and workflows for efficiency and scalability. Support ad hoc legal projects and initiatives as needed. Skills
Understanding of FDA, HIPAA, GDPR, and other healthcare regulatory frameworks. Familiarity with medical device development, clinical operations, or quality systems is highly desirable. Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency with legal software tools (e.g., CLM systems, DocuSign, SharePoint, etc.). Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred. Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program strongly preferred. Certified Paralegal (CP) or Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) designation is a plus. Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a paralegal, with at least 3+ years in a med tech, biotech, or life sciences environment. Strong experience with contracts, compliance, and corporate governance. We are pleased to provide a competitive salary and benefits.
