Our fabrication team supports the production of compliant, performance-ready assemblies for mission-critical projects. As we continue to grow, we're looking for dedicated metal fabricators eager to build their skills while contributing to quality-driven, defense-grade work.
Position Summary As a Metal Fabricator, you'll assist in cutting, forming, fitting, and assembling metal components to meet contract specifications and quality standards. You'll work with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals-following technical drawings and direction from leads and supervisors.
This role is ideal for a motivated fabricator who is building their experience, takes pride in producing accurate, compliant work, and thrives in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities Follow fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and supervisor instructions to produce assemblies Assist in cutting, forming, and fitting components using shop tools and machinery (saws, grinders, drills, presses, etc.) Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty metals as assigned Perform basic MIG, TIG welding operations under guidance Measure and check layouts using tape measures, squares, and calipers Assist with material prep, fit-up, and final assembly Conduct visual checks to ensure parts meet dimensional and quality standards Maintain tools, work area, and equipment in safe, clean condition Follow all shop safety protocols, including PPE requirements and safe equipment operation Work closely with leads and experienced fabricators to improve skills and productivity
Required Skills & Experience •1-4 years of fabrication experience in a shop, shipyard, or industrial environment •Ability to read basic fabrication drawings and weld symbols (advanced training provided) •Familiarity with cutting, forming, and basic welding processes •Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum •Skilled in safe use of fabrication tools and equipment •Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and safety •Willingness to learn and follow direction from experienced fabricators and supervisors •Reliable and punctual work habits •High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or apprenticeship a plus
