The Supervisor, Leave Management is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and coordination of the companys leave of absence programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies. This role supports the effective administration of leave programs by managing a caseload of employee leave cases and working closely with other leave administrators to ensure timely, accurate, and empathetic service delivery. In addition to case management, the Supervisor provides guidance on policy interpretation, supports training efforts, and helps identify opportunities for process improvements. The Supervisor plays a key role in executing leave-related procedures, maintaining documentation, and ensuring a consistent and employee-centered experience. Required Skills

In-depth knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, including FMLA, CFRA, PFL, ADA, and PDL. Proven ability to prioritize multiple LOA cases, ensuring accurate follow-up tracking and timely communication. Experience functioning as both a case manager and team leader, with the ability to supervise and support leave administrators in day-to-day operations. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Legal, and business leaders to ensure seamless leave administration. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, discretion, and professionalism. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex leave scenarios clearly and concisely. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems (e.g., Oracle), and other relevant platforms. Required Experience

Required: Minimum 3 years of experience in absence management/HR generalist/employee relations Advanced knowledge of leave of absence and employment-related federal, state, and local laws Preferred: Supervisory experience preferred Bachelors Degree preferred HR Certification Minimum Salary
