Baystate Health, Western Massachusetts's premier healthcare provider, is looking for a Patient Service Representative to join our Rehab team in Greenfield! Schedule: Full Time M-F rotating hours 6am-3pm or 9am-6pm Location: Greenfield, MA Responsibilities: Baystate Health's Patient Service Representatives perform a variety of different tasks throughout the day. This includes greeting patients, check in and check out and requesting copays. Responsibilities also include verifying insurances, answering telephones and faxing medical documents. Qualifications Requirements: High School diploma or GED Preferred: Great interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment a MUST. Medical terminology, keyboard, Microsoft office products, schedule systems, medical records (electronic and paper), billing, basic math, language, reading and writing, customer service. Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
