Must-Have: 1 year of outpatient experience IV certification Proficiency with high volume and difficult stick IV starts and blood/lab draws Availability for occasional weekend shifts (1 weekend per month)
Description: The LVN supports the physician and nursing staff in the delivery of health care by performing patient care assessments and a variety of medically related tasks. The LVN is a licensed nurse who works in an ambulatory care setting to perform and provide nursing services within the scope of practice. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examination by reviewing current medications and documents in the medical record. The role involves administering prescribed medications, injections, or IV medications using best practice. Proficiency in blood/lab draws is essential. The position entails initial nursing intake and preparing medical charts, recording patient information such as vital signs and reason for visit.
