As a Security Professional in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within an aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally while responding to various situations and supporting access control measures. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.18 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 07:00 AM - 06:00 PMTue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required. Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities and drills. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations. Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information as needed. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license in the job state and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
