Senior PMIS Specialist
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior PMIS Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will get to contribute expertise in the implementation of project management information systems, Kahua preferred, on large programs. At this level, the Senior PMIS Specialist has sufficient training, technical expertise to work mostly independently on assigned projects. The expectation is for the candidate to work from the client office (Newark, NJ) 3-5 days per week. What You'll Be Doing: Responsible for PMIS implementation, configuration, and administration to meet the client and project's requirements. Lead information-gathering sessions with clients, analyze the information, and prioritize the requirements to gain an understanding of the business needs and support their business plans. Prepare and deliver training programs to the client and project teams. Coordinate the review of designed solutions with key stakeholders. Responsible for using internal controls and reporting accurate information. Day-to-day software operation support for internal and external business partners. Data extraction and data analysis as demanded for program and project management usage. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Application, IT or from relevant engineering field from an accredited University/Institute. Minimum 8+ years of related work experience working on IT implementation projects. Experience in implementing/administering industry-leading PMIS solutions. Basic knowledge of project management and construction management workflows. Professional written and verbal communication skills in English is required. Experience in client-facing roles and delivering user training. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Kahua certification and experience preferred. Experience with creating and implementing data management processes and procedures. Organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management. A collegiate, team-player attitude.
