Role Overview
The Senior Collaboration Engineer designs, develops, and deploys solutions within the Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems. Responsibilities include managing the project lifecycle, gathering requirements, shaping application architecture, and delivering custom solutions involving intranet portals, custom applications, workflow automation, and data migrations. The ideal candidate will have experience collaborating across teams to deliver user-centric business processes. Key Responsibilities
Define, analyze, and evaluate business systems and technology needs. Gather requirements and guide end users to optimal solutions. Recommend modifications and improvements to web and portal applications. Maintain, upgrade, and develop web and portal applications. Lead troubleshooting efforts related to web and portal applications. Develop and maintain standards for site design, programming, and analysis. Share knowledge and ensure proper knowledge transfer. Perform quality assurance, testing, and documentation. Manage project scope, scheduling, resources, and skills alignment. Engage with vendors to stay updated on software developments. Coordinate with IT staff on deployment issues. Respond to user issues and provide after-hours support on a rotating basis. Perform other duties as assigned by management. SharePoint & Microsoft 365:
Build enterprise intranet and collaboration solutions using SharePoint Online, Office 365 applications, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse. Power Platform & Workflow Technologies:
Create workflows with Power Automate, Nintex, K2, etc. Migration & Modernization:
Lead data migration initiatives to SharePoint Online or Microsoft 365. Web Development:
Develop UI components with React, Redux, JavaScript/TypeScript, integrating with SharePoint APIs. Azure Services:
Implement Azure Web Apps, Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, AI Builder. .NET Core & C#:
Develop custom solutions and APIs. Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Trade training preferred; 5+ years relevant experience, preferably in professional services. At least 3 years in web development, including JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, CSS, JSON, and cloud-based scripting. Experience with Office 365-connected solutions and SharePoint Framework. Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, Blazor, SPFx, React, PowerShell. Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, TFS. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Experience with Azure resources and applying SDLC methodologies. Understanding of Active Directory, security, networking, and firewalls is a plus. Legal practice experience is a plus.
