Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech The opening is in our Joints R&D Commercialized Product Development Team providing technical support for our portfolio of Hip, Knee & Shoulder Orthopaedics medical devices that are released and in the market. This role includes working alongside other team members and with multidisciplinary teams to support a diverse range of products across the global environment. You will: Support the SCRUM process through participation and completion of a variety of tasks received from internal and external customers including MIR's, PVE's, NC's, CAPA's, UAI's, HA requests, design changes and complaints. Conduct design verification and validation activities. Provide technical product support to our internal and external customers. Ability to handle several projects concurrently. Support drawing changes working with designers. Update product development/DHF documentation. This may include risk management, RTM's, biocompatibility, usability, drawings, etc. Support audit activities of legacy knee and hip devices. Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related subject or relevant work experience required Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Highly collaborative with good interpersonal skills. Adept at prioritizing tasks and handling a dynamic and diverse workload. Has strong communication skills (written and verbal), including experience presenting in front of multidisciplinary audiences. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software is required as well as intermediate to advanced software skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Preferred: Highly motivated and can work independently on one or multiple projects under general direction and can exhibit an attention to detail. Demonstrates an understanding of basic engineering and scientific principles. Identifies and communicates basic problems and issues in a timely manner. Interest in medical device/orthopedic fields. Establish and cultivate collaboration and partnership internally and externally. Have a good sense of priorities and manages time well. This position may require up to 10% travel, domestic or international.
