2nd Shift Mon-Friday 2p-10:20p Pay: $18.35-$19.35/hr Job Description
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift general production worker positions at our main facility. As a production worker, you will use hand tools and a tape measure to follow work instructions and assemble components for flooring and drop ceiling products. Team lifting is encouraged, though the ability to lift up to 30-35lbs independently several times per shift is required. Opportunities to train on machinery are available once hired. Responsibilities
Learn and have a working knowledge of all equipment and machinery in the assigned department. Position parts and monitor equipment operations to ensure production meets established standards. Make minor setups, including changing plate sizes and configuring tubes and studs. Inspect panels or parts to verify they meet quality standards, and notify the appropriate personnel of any issues. Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately. Use banding equipment and hand-jacks for proper movement or storage of products or materials. Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to established safety procedures. Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions, including Employee Handbook, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual. Report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and conditions to the appropriate personnel. Essential Skills
High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience. Ability to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions. Capability to interface effectively with a diverse workforce. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively unassisted for an 8-hour shift. Proficiency in using tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift. Manual dexterity to handle or feel machinery, equipment, or parts and work near moving mechanical parts. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of machine operation is a plus. Experience with micrometers and calipers is advantageous. Why Work Here?
