Job Summary: Granby Heating Service company is the leading HVAC specialist in Grand County, offering comprehensive services for sales, maintenance, repair, and installation. With a commitment to high-quality work and exceptional service, Granby Heating Service Company has been Granby’s #1 HVAC service provider for decades. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HVAC Service Manager to lead our team of service technicians. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training, developing and managing the service technicians, ensuring timely scheduling and completion of projects, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires a strong work ethic, advanced technical knowledge in mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, or related), proven leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach to drive operational efficiency and success.
Key Responsibilities • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop our team of HVAC technicians to ensure optimal performance and professional growth. • Operational Oversight: Plan, schedule, and manage daily operations, including scheduling, service calls, and project timelines. • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, resolving service issues, and maintaining high service quality. • Financial Management: Monitor and manage department budgets, labor costs, and profitability while achieving financial targets. • Training & Development: Facilitate ongoing training for technicians to maintain certifications, expand skills, and stay updated on industry advancements. • Vendor Relationships: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment • Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a safe work environment, adhering to OSHA standards and company policies.
Required Qualifications: • 2+ years of proven field or management experience in the mechanical service environment (HVAC, plumbing, or industrial systems). • Strong leadership and organizational skills • Experience with budgeting, forecasting and achieving set goals. • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, team members and vendors. • Proficient with Housecall Pro or other field service management software. • Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications: • Associate of Mechanical Engineering Technology or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. • Prior experience with estimating and job costing. • EPA certification, NATE, or equivalent credentials.
