We welcome applicants with valid licensure from any U.S. state or territory.*** As a Dental Provider with NVIH, you will work with the latest technology in providing top-notch care to our patient base, alongside our skilled clinic teams. We pride ourselves on operating professional clinics while maintaining a family practice atmosphere. Essential Functions Provide dental services to patients, ensuring quality and quantity goals are met. Keep current with new techniques in all aspects of the dental field. Maintain clear communication with staff and function as a team member within the back-office clinic and dental department. Coordinate, lead, guide, and coach dental assisting staff during and after patient care; participate in the annual review and update of the Dental Policy and Procedure Manual. Participate in developing and proposing new dental policies with the Dental Director. Keep the Lead Dentist and Lead RDA informed of activities and situations within the Dental Department. Attend Northern Valley Indian Health, Inc. clinic staff meetings. Indian Preference. Preference in filling vacancies will be given to qualified Indian applicants in accordance with the Indian Preference Act (Title 25, U.S. Code Sections 472 & 473). Current DEA Controlled Substance registration. Two (2) years of experience in private or clinical practice preferred. California Radiation Safety certificate. Ability to perform quality dental services per NVIH standards. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Exhibit empathy and customer service skills to manage conflicts with team members and patients. Problem-solving skills and effective communication of solutions. Reliable transportation.
