Description: You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer Senior for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team. nAs the Supplier Quality Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for leading quality initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic quality plans for our suppliers. You will leverage your expertise to identify areas for improvement and drive supplier performance excellence.

n-Developing and implementing strategic quality plans for suppliers
n-Leading audits and assessments to ensure supplier compliance with quality standards
n-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality issues
n-Mentoring junior team members to develop their skills and expertise
n-Traveling moderately to support supplier activity across the United States

nMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
nBasic Qualifications:
nSTEM degree at the bachelor's level or equivalent experience/combined education.
nMust have the ability to obtain a secret clearance; candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
nQuality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.
nIn depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures.
nAble to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions.
nFailure Review Board experience for troubleshooting failures and identifying resolutions including for electrical testing.
nBasic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
nDemonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools
nExperience in disposition of non-conforming products.
nKnowledge of Configuration and Data Management.
nProficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
nEffective strong communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.
nEffective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
nEffectively interact with Suppliers, Quality Program Management, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Government Representatives, and other stakeholders.
nDemonstrated presentation skills.
nAbility to travel 25% of the time.
nAbility to work a flexible schedule (after hours or weekends when needed)
nDesired Skills:
nSTEM degree at bachelor's level or higher highly preferred.
nElectrical Systems/Electrical Engineering experience.
nEngineering drawing review experience.
nExperience with First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements.
nAS9100 interpretation and application experience.
nThorough knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO) and Aerospace (AS).
nElectrical Engineering experience with knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics
nExperience working with Government customers and suppliers.
nExperience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement.
nDemonstrated understanding of audit techniques
nExperience developing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products.
nSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

nAbility to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
