nWhat You will Do
nRaytheon is seeking a highly motivated electrical engineer that can work individually or as part of an engineering team developing electrical calibration methods and procedures, analyzing measurement systems and error sources. Can identify minor changes to calibration processes and systems to improve effectiveness of Metrology operations. Capable of working on smaller projects and task related activities with moderate supervision. Assist lower-level professionals in calibration and repair of test equipment and systems.
nProvide technical support for calibration technicians in the areas of precision electrical measurement, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of various test equipment (power supply, frequency, microwave, and digital).
nCollaborate with engineering, operations and management to improve test equipment configuration, quality, repeatability, and measurement traceability.
nDevelop written calibration procedures, calibration laboratory methods, processes, and capabilities.
nDevelop automated calibration procedures using various programing languages for measuring and test equipment.
nCreate uncertainty analyses for calibration procedures.
nQualifications You Must Have
nTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
nExperience with interpretation of electrical schematics.
nAbility to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Clearance (ATF).
nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
nQualifications We Prefer
nExperience in the field of Metrology calibrations and/or electronic repair.
nBasic understanding and application of ISO 17025:2017 and ANSI/NSCL Z540.
nMinimum 3 years of technical/engineering experience in a design, manufacturing, and/or engineering environment.
nBasic understanding of radio frequency "RF" and microwave measurement fundamentals.
nBasic understanding of uncertainty analysis and statistical process control.
nKnowledge of calibration quality standards.

nOnsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
nThe salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
