You will be the Industrial Engineer for our manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs, with a strong emphasis on analytical skills to drive data-driven decision making.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Your expertise will help drive data-driven decision making and optimize our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
• Optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Analyzing data to drive decision making and process improvements
• Utilizing CAD software and other tools to design and improve manufacturing processes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
• Applying Lean Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar Engineering degree
• Experience as an Industrial Engineer, Operations Engineer, Improvement Engineer, or related field
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma
• Experience using CAD software
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Discrete Event Simulation
• Tableau/SQL/Python/Data Analytics experience
• Experience with Pro Model or SIMIO simulation modeling
• JIRA/Confluence experience
• Linear Programming experience
• VBA experience
• Factory Capacity, Make/Buy, Machine & Manpower Analysis Experience
• Facilities Layout/Factory Design Experience
• Capital Insertion Payback Period/Return on Investment Analysis based on Process Improvement Savings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
