Description: As a mechanical engineer, you will:
n- Design mechanical structures and hardware using 3D CAD modeling tools
n- Create mechanical drawings and manage drawing lifecycle using data management software
n- Assist with engineering test efforts
n- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure robust design
nBasic Qualifications:
n- Active Secret Clearance
n- Experience with a 3D CAD modeling tool
n- Familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
n- Familiar with aerospace industry specifications (ASME, ASTM, SAE, etc.)
n- Understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) principles
nDesired Skills:
n- Active Top Secret Clearance
n- Proficient with PTC Creo
n- Experience with PTC Windchill
n- Experience with 3D printing/additive manufacturing
n- Skilled in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
n- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
n- Experience with engineering test activities

nAbility to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
