QUALITY BISTRO  is seeking an experienced Full Time Maître D'  to join our team! 

Position Summary: The Maître D’ manages the front door and reservation operations and presents an excellent first impression of the restaurant. The Maître D’ must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to think and act quickly and effectively while maintaining self-composure in a fast-paced work environment.

Position Requirements:
  • Welcome guests, manage reservations, and escort to appropriate tables while maximizing seating efficiency.
  • Proficiency on a reservation system such as Open Table or Resy.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of food, beverage, wine, and cocktail offerings to accurately describe items to guests.
  • Professional and polished appearance.
  • Communicate effectively with hosts, servers, and managers to ensure a smooth service.
  • Identify and coordinate VIP experiences, birthdays, and anniversaries in collaboration with management and servers.
  • Provide a high standard of hospitality by managing table flow, addressing guest needs, and assisting with drink orders and menu guidance.
  • Must be able to handle a fast paced environment in a hospitable manner with professionalism and poise.
  • Answering inquires over the phone and in person.
  • Adhere to health, hygiene, safety, and uniform policies, including CDC sanitation guidelines and Department of Health regulations.
