Le Café Louis Vuitton,  affiliated with STARR Restaurants ,  is a one-of-a-kind gastronomic destination for food and culture. Located on the fourth floor of the flagship Louis Vuitton store at 6 East 57th Street, the café is conceived to be a lively destination for visitors to feel immersed in an atmosphere of cultural inspiration while indulging in a creative menu curated by local talents Christophe Bellanca and Mary George, and guided by French chefs Arnaud Donckele and Maxime Frederic.

We are seeking an Executive Sous Chef —a dynamic culinary leader who sets the standard through excellence in execution, team mentorship, and an unwavering commitment to consistency.

This position offers a comprehensive package including:  A base salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 plus quarterly bonus potential up to 15%, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, paid vacation and paid sick time, and dining discounts at over 25 affiliated STARR Restaurants.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 + years in a leadership role within a fine dining or Michelin-rated kitchen
  • Proven leadership capabilities that have focused on training and developing staff through a "coach-player" philosophy
  • An enthusiastic team builder with exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • A culinary professional who thrives under pressure, leads by example, and embodies excellence in technique and taste
  • The ability to drive performance and success without compromising quality and consistency
