Location: The Paris Café, 119 South Street, Manhattan (Seaport District)
Compensation: $22–$25/hour | Full-Time | PM & Weekend Availability Required

The Paris Café is reopening in the heart of the Seaport District, and we’re building a tight, motivated back-of-house team. We’re looking for strong Line Cooks and a Lead Line Cook who can hold down their stations, execute with precision, and move with urgency and purpose.
We’re reopening a landmark space with a lean, respectful kitchen culture that values hard work, real teamwork, and food made with intention. You'll be part of a foundational team shaping a new chapter in one of the city's most historic neighborhoods.
Roles We’re Hiring For:
Line Cooks – Hot Line and Raw/Garde Manger
Lead Line Cook – Must be able to work all stations, lead by example, and handle key responsibilities independently
General Requirements (All Line Cooks):
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Must have your own knives
- Solid knife skills and ability to follow direction
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs as part of essential duties
- Communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Maintain a clean, organized station during service
- Reliable and consistent with time management
- Set up and break down station completely and independently
- Cook proteins to temp and manage multiple tickets under pressure
- Shuck oysters, cook a proper burger, and assemble composed salads
- Help maintain standards and momentum during peak hours
- Demonstrate strong ownership and initiative across the line
Bonus Points For:
- Experience in NYC or European-style kitchens
- Upscale casual or fine dining background
- Culinary school or certification
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
