Chef Shaun Hergatt Seeks Garde Manger Chef De Parie
Michelin starred Chef Hergatt’s restaurant seeks passionate and dedicated CDP.
CDP position at Vestry is responsible for upholding a consistently clean and prepared station as section leader, assisting CDC and sous chef with new menu changes and development.
Tasks will include cold appetizer work, intricate plating and pastry preparation alongside pastry chef.
CDP’s should be an expert at his/her particular station while having a working knowledge of all stations in the kitchen. He/she should be able to read and follow recipes and standards, train employees, and maintain health department, food quality, and restaurant standards.
The position requires and at least 5 years of kitchen experience. A culinary training degree is preferred but not required.
