Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival. Answer telephone, take reservations and manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their wishes.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Warmly and graciously greets all guests upon arrival
  • Provide guests with estimated waiting time, always maintaining a professional, courteous attitude when confronted with hostile, impatient or irate guests
  • To seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations
  • Thanks guests as they leave and invite them to return. Relay guest comments or suggestions to the manager on duty
  • To ensure high level of communication between the restaurant and other departments of the hotel
  • To perform other duties as assigned by the manager on duty
  • To Promote other Firmdale Hotels and restaurants
  • To take personal responsibility for punctuality

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Friendly demeanour
  • Excellent level of spoken and written English 
  • Must be open to working AM/PM shifts, week days, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long hours
  • Open table certification preferably  
  • Open Tablet reservations experience
