Overview
We’re a café, wine bar, and creative gathering space in Marina del Rey, blending hospitality with music and digital art. We’re looking for a General Manager with a strong background in restaurant leadership who can bring both structure and soul to the team. This role oversees all day-to-day operations, including service flow, staffing, financial performance, and quality control across coffee, food, and wine. You’ll work closely with ownership and department leads to shape guest experience, support creative programming, and maintain a healthy, consistent team culture.
The right candidate has 2–5 years of FOH leadership experience, leads by example, and thrives on great hospitality, care about quality and consistency, and knows how to balance team morale with business goals.

Duties
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Manage staff training and development to ensure a high level of service and operational efficiency.
- Implement effective budgeting strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Supervise kitchen management and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Lead team management efforts, including interviewing, hiring, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and sales tracking.
- Maintain high standards of customer service to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Coordinate catering services and banquet operations as needed.
- Monitor daily operations to identify areas for improvement in service delivery and food production.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management roles.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Experience in supervising staff within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management within the hospitality industry.
- Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both staff and customers.
- Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is preferred.
