The role of the host is about more than just seating guests at a table. A great host treats all guests with kindness and respect, ensures that staff has all the information they need for a great service, and keeps the flow of the restaurant smooth and balanced. We are looking for people who are passionate about customer service, and who display multi-tasking abilities, a warmth of spirit and grace under pressure.Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and seating guests
- Explaining our safety protocols in a welcoming manner
- Responding to guest inquiries
- Managing reservations, and more.
Qualifications :
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Must uphold company standards relating to appearance and dress.
Preferred: High school diploma or GED. Previous hosting experience a plus.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the restaurant. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have a manual dexterity and coordination to operate restaurant and office equipment and machines. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
