Max and Helen’s is now hiring back-of-house team members!
From Phil Rosenthal of Somebody Feed Phil and James Beard Award-winning Chef Nancy Silverton of the Mozza Restaurant Group comes Larchmont Village’s first classic neighborhood diner — Max and Helen’s. A modern take on the old-school American diner, we’ll serve up the comforting favorites you know and love, from matzoh ball soup and patty melts to breakfast plates, house-baked treats, and malted milkshakes.

We’re building a passionate, thoughtful, and energetic opening team and are currently hiring for all back-of-house roles , including:

  • Line Cooks

  • Prep Cooks

  • Dishwashers

What we’re looking for:

  • A love for cooking and working with great ingredients

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Hustle, efficiency, and attention to detail — even in a busy kitchen

  • Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude

  • Pride in keeping a clean, organized, and safe workspace

  • A desire to grow with a new restaurant from day one

Details:

  • Full-time and part-time roles available

  • Store hours: 8am–9pm daily (must be available weekends)

  • Prior restaurant/kitchen experience (2+ years) is preferred, but we’re open to training the right candidates

  • Positions and responsibilities will be dynamic and shared — expect to jump in wherever needed and support your teammates in all areas of the kitchen

Compensation Details

  • Hourly: $18.00 – $25.00 (based on role and experience)
