Restaurant & Job Overview:
We're inviting people who are passionate about food and food service to join us in launching a new restaurant venture, Cerveau. Building on 12-years' experience leading Pizza Brain, the world's first pizza museum & restaurant (and Philly go to destination), Executive Chef Joe Hunter and his team are spearheading a new, Philly cicchetti experience featuring Mediterranean-inspired dishes and classic pizza. Located in Spring Arts on Spring Garden in a "loungy," "arts-forward" space, we’ll create Cerveau to be a new third place to vibe with friends, family, neighbors and colleagues.
For Server, we’re looking for staff with proven ability to connect with others. You’ll take pride in being the bridge between kitchen and guest, guiding diners through our food and drink menus, all while creating memorable experiences with every table you touch.
Responsibilities
- Preserve a hospitable service vibe with smiles, listening and engagement
- Contribute to a positive team culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and care.
- Provide thoughtful, knowledgeable service with a focus on hospitality and guest connection.
- Guide guests through our food and drink menus, offering pairing suggestions and seasonal highlights.
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely, accurate order execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized section, including table resets and side work.
- Handle POS transactions, tip sheets, and closing duties with accuracy.
- Stay informed on 86’d items, specials, and pacing to support smooth service.
- Be able to commit to a minimum of 4 shifts per week including weekend days.
