About Lokma
Lokma is a highly rated San Francisco restaurant serving Turkish-inspired brunch and dinner since 2018. Known for our warm hospitality and vibrant flavors, we are refreshing our menu and seeking a consulting chef with authentic Turkish/Mediterranean expertise to create exciting, modern dishes that fit our kitchen and brand.
Role & Responsibilities
Develop 8–12 new brunch & dinner dishes (meze, mains)
Create standardized recipes with precise measurements and plating notes
Provide food costing for each dish
Train kitchen staff on new items
Adapt concepts to our current equipment and workflow
Qualifications
Proven expertise in Turkish and/or Mediterranean cuisine
Experience in menu development and recipe standardization
Knowledge of food costing and portion control
Collaborative approach and strong communication skills
On-site availability in San Francisco for R&D and training
Compensation
Project Rate: $3,000–$4,000 (3-week max timeline)
Hourly Rate: $50–$65/hr (max hours agreed before project start)
Negotiable for exceptional candidates
