Volt is immediately hiring for Mechanical Assembler in Chatsworth, CA.
As a
Mechanical Assembler
you will: Rework or repair products based on engineering changes. Assemble equipment and products accurately using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, drill guns). Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials. Perform soldering to join metal components. Maintain inventory at workstations. Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with standards. Identify and document product defects. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. This is a 1st Shift- 7:30a- 4pm opportunity
Pay Rate is $18-19/hr
The ideal candidate will have:
1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred. Basic reading and computer skills. Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs and stand for extended periods Must pass a ruler test if applicable.
