The DarkStar Group, a GRVTY Company is seeking an Applications Developer with a TS/SCI + Poly to join one of our top projects in Herndon, VA. Below is an overview of the project, as well as information on our company, our benefits, and our $25,000 referral program.

THE PROJECT

The DarkStar Group's team uses AI/ML approaches (including NLP) to speed the analysis of massive amounts of aging data to determine what can and cannot be declassified, and the resulting redaction of portions of data items. This effort is critical to protecting our exponentially-growing classified data sets and to responding to an increased number of FOIA requests. The team consists of Data Scientists, ML experts, Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and Systems Integrators working very closely with groups of customer Analysts.

Work on this program takes place in the Herndon, VA area (we cannot support remote work) and requires a TS/SCI + Polygraph clearance (acceptable to this customer).

Experience: Proven experience as an Applications Developer with a portfolio of successful projects. Technical Skills: Mastery of multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript) and proficiency with various frameworks and tools. Problem-Solving Abilities: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of tackling complex challenges. Team Player: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing technological landscape. Education: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Node.js, React, Angular, etc.). Strong understanding of OCR tools and libraries (e.g., Tesseract, Google Vision API, etc.). Demonstrated experience with: Implementing graphical user interface (GUI) components in web applications using the Angular framework Building reusable code and libraries for future use Asynchronous programming paradigms Ability to design, develop, test and implement new applications based on project requirements Decomposing concepts to discrete development tasks and managing your work to a deadline Ability to develop wireframes and storyboards to help stakeholders conceptualize a front-end solution Optimizing front end applications for maximum speed and scalability Desired Skills (Optional)

Demonstrated experience with: Automated testing for front end applications (i.e. Jasmine, Selenium, Cypress) Linux (Bash) shell scripting Web-based platforms to perform searches or analytics on large data sets Should be familiar with developing front-end solutions with 508 compliances in mind Middle-tier application design and development using any framework - NodeJs, Java, Python Development and deployment of applications in the Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) environment or an Amazon Web Services cloud environment Data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Pandas, D3.js, ggplot, etc) Open-source front end libraries that manipulate PDF documents such as PDF.js Proficiency in Python software development, especially web service development in Flask or Django Why Choose The DarkStar Group, a GRVTY Company
