We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team on a seasonal basis, with employment lasting until October. The position involves operating a Sit Down forklift and performing various warehouse functions, including using an RF Gun, maintaining cleanliness, and managing truck loading and unloading.
Responsibilities
Operate Sit Down forklift efficiently. Utilize RF Gun for inventory and warehouse tasks. Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization. Load and unload trucks, including fleet vehicles. Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials. Verify and inspect received goods against shipment records. Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications. Record received and shipped items following established procedures. Route materials, supplies, and equipment to appropriate areas. Complete written and computerized documentation accurately. Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 1 year of related experience. Forklift certification preferred. Familiarity with typical shipping and receiving procedures. Basic reading, writing, and numerical abilities. Valid driver's license with a good driving record may be required. Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts. Effective verbal communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Preference given to candidates with sales experience.
Work Schedule
7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
