Position Overview: We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to perform a combination of administrative and clinical duties in a healthcare setting. This role involves supporting patient care, maintaining accurate records, and assisting providers with various medical procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Greet and prepare patients for examinations. Record patient history, vital signs, and other information. Assist healthcare providers during procedures and examinations. Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician. Manage patient records and update documentation in the medical system. Schedule appointments, manage correspondence, and perform other administrative duties as needed. Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Required Certifications & Licensure:
AHA BLS Certification
(American Heart Association Basic Life Support). One of the following active certifications: CMA - NHA (National Healthcareer Association) CMA - NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing) CMA - AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants) RMA - AMT (American Medical Technologists) RMA - NAHP (National Association for Health Professionals) AMCA (American Medical Certification Association) NCMA (National Certification Medical Association)
