We are currently seeking a person who identifies strongly with our mission and core values to join our team in Summerville, SC as a Quality Inspector I in our Aerospace Division. This is an ideal role for someone who has previous quality inspection experience in aerospace , b
asic knowledge of inspection devices and tools , possesses strong math skills , and who has the ability to work well with employees at all levels in each department who come from various backgrounds as noted in the job description below.

Purpose:
Performs various inspections determining the acceptability of manufactured parts to ensure a quality product.
Responsibilities: Inspects and determines acceptability of Government, Military, Commercial products, Aerospace and other parts and sub-assemblies as required. Performs receiving, first part, in-process, first article and final inspections. Understands customer requirements and assures compliance to standards. Maintains required documentation to assure process control. Assists Set-Up Specialists and others in corrective action on non-conforming parts or process controls to assure conformance on future jobs. Ensures the adherence to company safety and health standards, policies and procedures by monitoring personnel, machinery and work environment. Immediately notify supervisor and/or Safety Manager of any safety and health concerns and problems. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent required. Basic shop math required. Two plus years inspection experience preferred. Basic knowledge of inspection devices and tools required. Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and teamwork. Ability to work according to timelines and customer specifications required. Experience in total quality/team-oriented manufacturing environment. Ability to support working relationships between inspection and manufacturing departments preferred. Advanced inspection courses (college level) preferred. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, Access, Word, Outlook required. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with strong organizational skills required. Ability to follow clear instructions and provide prompt feedback or results. Strong communications skills.
