Senior Level Procurement Agent
to join our
Systems Operations team
in
Everett, Washington . The Procurement Agent will develop and use collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
This role requires being knowledgeable of how the business and organization operates; knowledgeable of policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization; and understanding the competition and the marketplace.
The ideal candidate will practice goal-directed thinking and action in situations for which no routine solutions exist; with the ability to maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjust effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, and/or cultures.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops and uses collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals. Builds rapport and trust among stakeholders. Effectively explores alternative strategies and ideas to mitigation supply chain and production impacts. Maintains effectiveness when experiencing changes in work tasks or the work environment. Gain understanding of responsibilities and tasks performed by various procurement departments/disciplines. Manages supplier quality, delivery performance. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities. Enforce contractual obligations as it relates to overall production and supply chain performance. Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues. Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies. Performs some level of system transactions, data entry, prepares and presents technical information as needed. Willingness to dedicate time and effort to mentoring teammates and peers. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
5+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management 5+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher More than 8 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer Experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions Drug Free Workplace:
