As a Veterinary Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. You will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, handling phone inquiries, and ensuring a smooth front desk operation. Your compassion for animals and people, combined with your communication and organizational skills, will help create a positive experience for every client who visits our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and patients warmly in person and on the phone Answer phones, direct calls, and respond to inquiries professionally Schedule and confirm appointments, surgeries, and follow-ups Check clients in and out, process payments, and provide invoices Maintain accurate client and patient records in the system Communicate effectively with veterinary staff to coordinate care Educate clients on basic pet care, vaccination schedules, and clinic services Handle client concerns or complaints with patience and professionalism Ensure the front desk, lobby, and client areas are clean and welcoming Assist with administrative tasks and support the clinical team as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in customer service, veterinary, or medical office setting preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working with animals and their owners Proficient in using computers and veterinary software (e.g., Pulse, Avimark, etc.) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Compassionate, friendly, and professional demeanor Working Conditions: May require evenings or weekends Exposure to animals, allergens, noise, and cleaning product Benefits:
