Warehouse Manager / Operations Supervisor
Position Summary: The Operations Specialist is responsible for receiving, inspecting, processing, and documenting returned materials and equipment in accordance with company procedures. This role ensures returned products are handled efficiently, accurately, and safely, while maintaining high standards of customer service and inventory control in an oilfield supply environment.
Key Responsibilities: Receive and inspect incoming returned goods from customers, job sites, or vendors. Verify product condition, quantities, and documentation against return authorizations and packing slips. Accurately record return data into the inventory management system. Identify items eligible for restock, repair, disposal, or return to vendor. Coordinate with sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve return discrepancies or incomplete documentation. Prepare and package items for return shipment to vendors when applicable. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the returns processing area. Follow all safety regulations and proper handling procedures for oilfield equipment and materials. Assist in cycle counts, inventory audits, and warehouse duties as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and environmental regulations regarding product handling and disposal. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or returns processing experience preferred; oilfield supply industry experience strongly desired. Basic computer skills with ability to use inventory and warehouse management systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Knowledge of pipe, valves, fittings, and oilfield equipment a plus. Work Environment:
Warehouse environment with regular exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying temperatures. May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots.
