The Justice and Policy Studies Department seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach JPS 336 Understanding Oppressive Systems in the fall 2025 semester. This in-person course will meet Mondays and Wednesdays 6:15pm-8:00pm. In this course, students will examine the nature of the human system as it presents itself in small groups, organizations, communities and societies. They will develop a definition of just and humane systems as well as the kind of leadership needed to facilitate them.
