Machine Operator - Carol Stream, IL
The Machine Operator is responsible for running secondary functions in the fabrication department. This role involves operating various types of machinery to perform tasks such as loading parts, running machines, unloading parts, and checking quality. Basic assembly functions may be required, although most assembly occurs in the production department. Responsibilities
Operate machinery to perform secondary functions in the fabrication department. Perform tasks such as grinding, polishing, drilling holes, deburring, measuring, and basic assembly. Load material, run parts, and ensure quality checks. Essential Skills
Minimum of 6 months experience in machine operation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency in measuring and operating machinery. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a production environment, preferably in metal manufacturing. Familiarity with general labor, machine operation, and production processes. Why Work Here
