This position is responsible for aircraft hydraulic and filter testing at the Pall New Port Richey, Florida Aerospace site. This position reports to the Laboratory Engineering Manager, and is a part of the Technology and Engineering team located in New Port Richey Florida. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Review Engineering order, relevant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and fully understand requirements in accordance with laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Assure all calculations (utilizing basic mathematics and statistics) are performed and documented correctly and accurately. Perform flow, pressure, temperature, vibration, endurance, impulse and other testing of hydraulic manifolds, liquid filters, and air products. Perform electrical support (i.e., make cables to support projects). Conduct maintenance of test stands and test equipment, including performing preventative maintenance as required. Participate in continuous improvement activities. The essential requirements of the job include: Associate Degree (in Aerospace Maintenance, Electrical, Power Plant, Petroleum Repair) from an accredited technical college/university or in lieu of a technical degree, must have at least four (4) years of working experience in fluid systems and pressure vessel industry. Must have experience and knowledge of air and fluid mechanical systems and electronic controls. Must be able to read complicated technical specifications, procedures, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. With experience in Microsoft Word, Excel (i.e., creation and maintenance of spreadsheets and Power Point). Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25lb. Wear standard PPE equipment It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Knowledge and experience with Data Acquisition and control (National Instruments LabView preferred). Knowledge of SAP or equivalent systems preferred. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
