Lending provides competitive borrowing solutions that are strategically integrated into our clients broader wealth management goals. Our team provides lending solutions across all three client segments including Citi Private Bank, Wealth at Work, Citi Private Client and Citigold as part of their wider Citi relationship. The Global Head of Securities Backed Lending (SBL) is responsible for end-to-end management of the product in partnership with the Head of Flow Lending products who oversees our automated SBL platform, Citi Wealth Liquidity Platform along with management of the structured SBL lending team. The role requires an ability to influence internal stakeholders through excellent technical skills, well developed communication skills, in addition, strong client engagement to deliver creative SBL solutions and lead the growth of the SBL business. The job requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of the Securities Based (or Lombard) Lending business as well as strong structuring skills, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the industry and direct competitors products/services. Further, a strong awareness and understanding of the jurisdictional legal and regulatory features across the region is essential. SBL is a core lending product for Citi Private Bank and integral to the partnership with Investment Solutions to enable sales teams to deliver the breadth of the Citi Private Bank platform to clients. The role is a member of the Citi Wealth Lending Leadership team. Responsibilities

Drive the global SBL product strategy in partnership with Head of Flow Lending. Partner successfully with Lending leadership and Client Segment leadership in each region to drive growth. Successfully define and manage execution of SBL strategies, including but not limited to client engagement and communication plans, Banker training as well as managing the annual planning and budget process. Partner with Lending Advisors on origination activity, working closely with Market Executives and Private Bankers to develop and enhance client relationships while optimizing capital for the Firm. Partner with SBL Product Head and Financial Asset Lending Product Solutions on product and collateral updates to maintain competitiveness vs. market trends. Oversee relationships with key clients. Responsible for oversight of appropriate transaction structuring and execution with appropriate risk and return characteristics, ensuring appropriate credit policy and risk acceptance standard compliance. Attract, recruit and retain high performing team. Manage, mentor, coach and develop key talent within the business. Establish a culture of continuous improvement to ensure compliant robust business processes are in place. Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations, as well as Citis policies and the Product Program. Collaborate with the 1LOD and 2LOD Risk Organization to drive results and identify areas to mitigate risk. Responsible for the early problem recognition process and must propose, when deemed appropriate, credit classification and appropriate risk rating on specific transactions/relationships. Adherence to firmwide credit standards and other policies. Serve as member in relevant product governance forum and attend regional governance meetings as appropriate. Develop and enhance internal relationships across the region and broader Firm. Qualifications

10+ years of experience in High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Lending Solid knowledge of financial markets, investments, banking and loan products Experience across SBL product globally with specific knowledge of Reg U and Reg T lending in North America. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines to drive execution for the business Strong negotiation skills Strong initiative and interactive approach to problem solving Displays flexibility and independence in a demanding environment Completion of formal credit training program preferred Education
