Edwards Construction Group is a leading commercial contractor specializing in K-12, Higher Education, Civic, and Private Commercial projects across California. We're looking for a skilled Carpenter with experience in both rough and finish work to support a range of projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on role requiring technical skill, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Job Duties: Perform rough framing, trim work, and general carpentry tasks with precision Form walls after layout is provided Assist with layout and setting anchor bolts Assist with material takeoffs for job site needs Use essential carpentry tools (square, measuring tape, levels, saws, etc.) comfortably and correctly Measure, cut, and install wood and other materials accurately Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications Communicate and collaborate effectively with the crew and take direction from supervisors, foremen, and members of other trades Follow all safety procedures and project protocols to maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
