Job Title: Controller
Ghost Robotics is the industry leader in legged robotic systems that help our customers solve complex operational, national security, and technical challenges to save lives, reduce harm and improve outcomes. This position will be reporting to the CFO and will be working closely with a fast-moving team delivering next generation legged robotic solutions to our customers worldwide. The Controller will oversee and direct the company's accounting operations, ensuring compliance with all United States and Korean regulatory requirements and aligning financial strategies with company goals. This role is integral in maintaining financial stability, mitigating risks, and supporting strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis. The ideal candidate for this role is professionally proficient in Korean and English. Key Responsibilities
Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth. Oversee the preparation of financial reports and ensure compliance with GAAP and K-IFRS/IFRS standards. Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis process to support key business decisions. Monitor cash flow and liquidity to meet operational and investment needs. Maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures to mitigate financial risk. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, and Procurement to support organizational goals. Manage external audits and ensure compliance with Korean and U.S. federal, state, and local financial regulations. Lead and mentor the Accounting team, overseeing AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting functions. Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required); CPA or MBA preferred. Experience:
Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience as a Controller or Public Accountant, with proven leadership in accounting operations. Skills: Exceptional management and supervisory abilities. Strong communication skills. Superior organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools. Demonstrated expertise in project management and system implementation. Location:
Philadelphia, PA area preferred, remote candidates will be considered. Compensation:
