Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company's R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding Revolutionaries in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway. The Opportunity: The Associate Director Training Strategy And Enablement in the Information Sciences (IS) department will lead the design, development, delivery, and evaluations of scalable and sustainable training programs that support the successful implementation and adoption of business systems across the organization. This role will serve as a training strategist, instructor/facilitator, and implementation partner, working with system owners, subject matter experts (SMEs), cross-functional learning partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure end users are prepared and empowered to use critical information systems in all stages of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle from R&D through commercialization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and a strong understanding of training tools and technologies. Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is essential to contextualize training within regulated, cross-functional environments as well as a keen understanding of how to embed learning experience effectively within a company's culture. A strong understanding of GxP environments and associated training requirements is critical to ensure compliance and inspection readiness across all regulated systems and processes. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, engaging, and measurably effective training programs for new and existing business systems across R&D, G&A, and Commercial functions. Support change management efforts by building buy-in, awareness, readiness, knowledge, and proficiency among end users. Partner closely with the learning governance team and cross-functional learning partners to deliver learning solutions that are aligned with RevMed's established best learning practices and actively support the identification, development, and establishment of additional learning best practices needed for effective and aligned cross-functional learning creation and delivery. Proactively identify business training gaps and needs and provide recommendations and implementation strategies to solve these. Create and maintain training materials (e.g., eLearning, job aids, quick reference guides, facilitator guides) that align with system functionality and business processes. Ensure training content is current, accessible, and tailored to various user audiences. Coach and train subject matter experts through effective train-the-trainer experiences to deliver system-specific training confidently and consistently. Provide frameworks, templates, and delivery support to internal trainers. Utilize digital learning tools (e.g., LMS, eLearning software, video, virtual labs) to enhance learning experiences, measure effectiveness of learning experiences and delivery, and monitor and manage course completions. Advise on the selection and implementation of new training technologies and platforms. Partner with IS project managers, system owners, QA, IT, business functions, and functional training leaders to align training efforts with project milestones and user readiness needs. Ensure training complies with applicable industry regulations and internal quality standards. Ensure GxP system training is properly documented, assigned, tracked, and audit-ready, in alignment with regulatory and quality requirements. Monitor training outcomes and feedback to assess effectiveness and iterate on training programs. Recommend improvements based on user engagement, adoption metrics, and system usage trends. Required Skills, Experience and Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in training program design and delivery, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sector. Proven expertise in instructional design and learning experience (LX) capabilities, leveraging adult learning theory and training methodologies (ADDIE, SAM), and learning experience design (LXD) principles for both technical and soft-skill training. Training experience in in-person, remote/virtual, and hybrid formats as well as synchronous and asynchronous learning environments Strong knowledge of Workday Learning System Expertise with proven experience of managing training content, audiences, campaigns, and reporting in Workday Learning. Managing LinkedIn Learning integrated into the Workday LMS is a plus. Proficiency in Digital Learning Tools for content development, including advanced skills in tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Vyond, Synthesia or Camtasia for creating engaging and scalable digital training content. WalkMe or Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) experience with the ability to design and manage in-system guidance for enterprise applications (e.g. ERP, Workday, other IT systems), improving user onboarding and ongoing system engagement. Relevant Certifications or Credentials such as Workday Pro: Learning, Articulate 360 or Captivate, Project Management (PMP or CSM) for managing cross-functional training projects Experience supporting system implementations (e.g., Veeva, Workday LMS, LinkedIn Learning, clinical systems). Experience with creating sustainable and scalable learning experiences in a hyper-growth environment. Deep understanding of GxP environments and the design and delivery of GxP-compliant training programs. Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry processes from R&D through commercialization. Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced, evolving environment. People manager experience. Preferred Skills: Experience in designing and delivering training that incorporates AI tools Familiarity with generative AI (GenAI) tools and experience training end users on responsible and effective use of these technologies Change management experience and certification is a plus Knowledge of project management principles and tools. The base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 to $225,000 for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the salary for an individual working onsite in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based in. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
