Yavapai Regional Medical Group, Prescott, Arizona The posted compensation range of $21.93 - $25.68/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law. This position is eligible for a $2k sign on bonus! Provides basic level of patient care and treatments. Assists with obtaining vital signs, documents chief complaint, and all actions taken. Alerts physician of problems/concerns/abnormalities. Assists with obtaining patient history, assists physicians and residents and/or licensed nursing personnel. Performs simple patient procedures, sets up exam/procedure rooms, including instruments for minor procedures, prepares and may include administering medications (excluding IV) under direct supervision of a physician. Obtains lab specimen and fills out requisitions completely and accurately. In addition to the above, the Medical Assistant II functions more independently and coordinates the workflow of MAs when necessary. Obtains authorization for referral (normally in small clinics). Conducts front desk duties such as registration, check-in, and scheduling of patients. Qualifications

Minimum: High School Diploma/GED Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program or completion of a U.S. Armed Forces medical services training program Computer program utilized for checking-in and scheduling patients Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) Preferred: Previous Medical Assistant Experience Experience in designated specialty area Electronic Medical Record EMR experience Bilingual skills At Dignity Health, living our values means bringing passion into action every day.
