We are actively seeking a Mechanic. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Eligible for overtime. Job Summary: Essential Functions & Competencies: Assembly of detailed components, installation of sub-assemblies, and final assembly of helicopters using basic hand tools and custom assembly fixtures. Operate equipment such as drills, rivet guns, and torque wrenches in accordance with safety procedures. Knowledge of aircraft avionics systems and related testing equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and company literature related to aircraft assembly. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including production records and inspection logs. Basic mathematics skills including but not limited to: adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for calculating material fabrication. Full compliance with the Company's DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program. Regular and predictable attendance. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school, A&P certification is a plus. Minimum 12 years of assembly experience in aerospace, aviation, or a precision manufacturing environment. Familiarity with aerospace materials, standards, and quality requirements preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
