Registered provides clinical, clerical, and administrative tasks in an OMP outpatient clinic. Under the supervision and direction of a provider (physician or advanced practice clinician) or Medical Office Nurse Coordinator, the registered Medical Assistant performs duties that are consistent with his/her Medical Assistant education, training, experience and registration. Education
High school diploma/GED required. Experience
One year of experience in health care in an outpatient clinic preferred (experience specific to the type of clinic being hired for is preferred). Licensure/Credentials
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire. Current attestation filed with the Department of Health and signed by a healthcare practitioner authorizing performance of tasks required within 60 days of hire.
