Maintenance Electrician
PrideStaff is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Electrician for a well-known client located in Elk Grove Village, IL. This is a Direct Hire position! Must have thorough knowledge of the construction, installation, operation, and troubleshooting of sophisticated circuitry and controls associated with unique projects, ideally within the printing press industry. Must have previous experience working as an electrician in a manufacturing/production/industrial setting. 12-hour shifts *rotating schedule* 3 days on, 4 days off, rotating every 8 weeks 7:00am-7:00pm Must be available to work weekends! $33.00 - $42.00 per hour DOE Job Duties: Install, modify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and load new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures, controls, and equipment Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment Qualifications: Ability to formulate the layout sketch of required electrical circuits, wire new test setups, and install strain gauge circuits Ability to utilize recording instruments as needed by the test program to measure performance of test articles Ability to troubleshoot the electrical portions of the test equipment during test programs to determine cause of malfunction Knowledge and ability to anticipate and respond quickly to danger signs as they become evident through intricate warning systems to avoid loss of time and expensive equipment Must have skill in the use of hand tools, power tools, and test equipment needed to perform job effectively Knowledge of electronics to electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to submit an up-to-date resume!
