Full-Time opportunity to work with some of the best in the Pee Dee as a Radiation Oncology Therapist! This position offers a 10k sign-on bonus!!! Provides radiation therapy treatments to cancer patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. Duties may include reviewing prescriptions + diagnoses, acting as liaison with MD and supportive Care personnel; preparing equipment, such as immobilization devices+ protective devices; maintaining records and files. Administers radiation therapy by exposing specific areas of the patient's body to prescribed doses of radiation. Maintains patient charts, noting such information as the area treated, the radiation dosage, equipment control settings, the patient's reactions, and the total amount of radiation received to date. Consults with radiation oncologists and other clinical staff as needed. Radiation Equipment: iX Onboard CBCT GE Optima CT Scanner Aria Epic Vision RT Education: BS or AS in Radiation Sciences Completed an approved AMA Radiation Therapy program Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiation Therapist. Basic Computer knowledge
