Job Description/Responsibilities
The schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm. As a PLC Maintenance Technician, you will ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, conveyor systems, and production machines; you will have the capability of following diagrams, sketches, manuals and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions. Responsibilities : Perform regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and variable frequency drives (VFD) Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with machinery, utilizing your strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Identify and resolve PLC-related problems, utilizing your PLC troubleshooting skills Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment Qualifications/Requirements : 5+ years of prior Maintenance or Mechanic work experience required
Must be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair machinery issues
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of machine safety inspections and adherence to safety regulations
Physical Requirements: Three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances
Ability to work with vibration from a specific tool
Ability to operate Industrial equipment as required
Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to work overtime if necessary
Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, etc.
